Prior to Washington Mutual bankruptcy, there was this student-through-school banking program. Now that Washington Mutual is no more, (and being now that my account is terminated) I was wondering if there is any other banks that still host this type of program. I would like to open such account WITHOUT parent consent. Is there still such banking options at any bank at all?

I am now, however looking into buying a Golf which would cost me around 950 to insure if I was to start the policy from scratch. Okay, so here is the story. i was in a private McDonald's car park when the was car meet event, nothing official boy racers if your wish, the car parks were full to the brim with cars parked all over the place, with hardly any lighting at 10 o clock as night, visibility wasn't at its best. i was stuck in a Que of traffic trying to get out of the car park, when the car in front started reversing for what ever reason, so i put my car into reverse, had a glance in the rear view mirror which really was no help because of the poor lighting. I let my foot of the brake as the car in front stated reversing an with in milliseconds i herd people shouting, so i stopped and got out, there was a car right behind me must have on been cm away, with a massive dent in the drivers door. although i didn't even feel a thing i quickly apologised and began to sort the problem. i have no clue whether the driver had his lights on or not. i suspected that i couldn't have done it because i had barely moved and there was no damage to my car what so ever. Although this being my first accident i was nerves so took responsibility. We both decided to sort it out between our selves, i didn't want my insurance to go up as it is high enough already as a young driver, he said he would need a new door and i agreed due to the size of the dent, so he found one on eBay for 150 and would take nothing but that as i only had 100 in the bank at the time we drove to the cash machine he took the 100 and we agreed that i would pay him the other 50 in two weeks when i got paid, i writ a receipt to say that i had paid him this money and there was a following 50 to come, with his signature and address phone number ext... two weeks later herd nothing although i kept the money aside for a couple more weeks just in case, but still herd nothing after over a month he texts me asking for the 50 which i no longer have, i explain to him that he has left if for over month and now expects it instantly. Now he says he is going to put in an insurance claim, which i cant no see happening due to 2 reasons 1. he has already tried to sort it him self and failed to because of a fault of his own 2. because he was on a private car park at an illegal car meet Am i right? or is there anything i should do or know about this situation. Hi Ive just renewed my car insurance and had a major reduction, i got through my first year paying 4800 (800 deposit and 380 for 10 months) now ive renewed and im paying 1600 (500 deposit and 110 for 10 months). My question is i am moving out of the area i live to live in gloucester, ive done quotes for my car in that area with all the same details as now just with a different address and my insurance is just above 600 not 1600! does this mean if i move and contact my insurance company (RAC) that they will reduce my payments or will i have to still pay the same for the next 11 months?
